Education is the first step in saving lives. PROJECT P.R.I.D.E. (Putting Rigs In Drivers Education) has been established to help in the educational process through drivers education programs, and senior citizen organizations.

LOADS has successfully contacted many states requesting vital information be included in drivers manuals on sharing the roads with trucks. We've received notification from states that information will be included.

If your state does not include such vital information in their manual, let us know - we'll be knocking on their doors for the sake of saving lives.

LOADS campaign on sharing the roads safely:

• An international campaign to have all drivers manuals changed to include sharing the roads with semi's
• An established drivers' education program being conducted at high-schools and other locations in order to make highways a safer place for all to travel
• A DOT petition drive to have roadside inspections held in a safer manner. This resulted from one of our drivers being killed while stopped for an unsafe DOT inspection
• Headlights on at all times - statistics prove this does save lives
• An international support group dedicated to Truckers and their families
